02012-2013. First years of activity
We thank all those who helped us develop our projects and explore new ideas in 2012 and 2013:
Sintagma Center for Education and Training, with whom we organized the first meetings dedicated to culture in education, and who invited us to be part of a project that works directly at local level in rural areas to increase quality of life through the arts and culture;
ZonaD – studio Paradis Serial and the Association for the Promotion of Contemporary Arts, who hosted the meetings dedicated to culture in education;
Oppland County Council from Norway, who wished to explore with us a partnership for the development of a program which would encourage the presence of the arts in Romanian schools;
a wonderful donor, who prefers to remain anonymous and thanks to whom we were able to give 7 micro-financing grants for the development of living culture projects;
CMS Cameron McKenna SCA, who offered us and the members of the European Cultural Parliament Youth Network in Romania consultancy concerning legal matters relevant to the cultural activity;
Contesti secondary school, Teleorman county, who showed us that caring for the place where you live and being open to new partnerships and ideas are the two most important things when it comes to improve the life f a community through a social-educational-artistic intervention;
the colleagues from the Coalition of the Independent Cultural Sector, who invested their time and knowledge for causes beyond their strict personal interest, which regard the cultural professional community as a whole;
the magazine Dilema Veche,which is giving us permanent online space to write the column dedicated to cultural policies;
the Institute for Education Sciences, the Cultural Contact Point, and the Project Management Unit (Ministry of Culture) who participated to the meetings we organized and offered us and our guests concrete quality information;
InfoEuropa Centre from Bucharest, who generously hosted the events and meetings we developed for the members of the European Cultural Parliament Youth Network in Romania;
Culture Action Europe, the European-wide advocacy network for the arts and culture, whose members we became in August 2013 and who were the first to concretely support us in April 2012, when we organized the first event of the NGO – a debate dedicated to arguments for public financial support for public culture in Europe and the use of strctural funds for culture in Romania;
the Intercultural Institute from Timisoara, Gabriela Tudor Foundatio, AltArt Foundation and the Brush Factory from Cluj, our partners for the implementation of a project that intended to formulate and promote arguments for the support of living culture in Romania, in the context of general elections. Proiect funded by the Administration of National Cultural Fund in 2012.
